BaseCare is a medical equipment company founded by
Mark Larsen who was born in Norway. The focus of BaseCare is to
improve patient’s lives through developing highly efficient surgery
systems and robot systems for microsurgery.
Our current products offerings include surgical robot for open
microsurgery. This system is designed in close cooperation with
microsurgeons and engineers, specifically for microsurgical
applications. It provides superhuman precision for microsurgeons,
enabling new interventions that are currently impossible to perform
by hand.
We have an excellent business team with proven track record in the
commercial, clinical and technical domain. In addition we have
strategic collaborations with clinical key opinion leaders,
industrial partnerships and quality and regulatory experts.
Our organization is guided by the belief that we are responsible for
satisfying the three fundamental healthcare needs—cost containment,
enhanced clinical outcomes and unrestricted choice. In light of this
belief, we invest heavily in team members, R&D and advanced
manufacturing technologies in order to develop the products and
processes that allow us to satisfy our customers’ needs.
One of the main facets of our business model is vertical
integration. Instead of outsourcing our operations, we continuously
focus on expanding our areas of expertise and manufacturing
capabilities. As a vertically integrated organization, we also
manufacture our products in-house at our various facilities, and
provide exceptional customer service, support and education.
Our team members are part of one of the fastest growing and most
progressive organizations in healthcare. We are proud to have a
culture strongly committed to making a meaningful, positive
difference in the world around us. BaseCare Medical Equipment Co
supports team members by giving them opportunities to volunteer with
nonprofit organizations, improve their own health and wellness,
advance local sustainability efforts, and pursue ongoing learning
and education.
